It’s 6am in Southington, CT and the hot air balloons are being prepared for take-off at the annual “Frozen Buns Fly-Out.” It’s wintertime and it’s January so I’m sure you can see how the name was derived for this yearly tradition! Despite the cold temperatures, spectators were in attendance to watch in awe as the colorful balloons slowly and quietly ascended into the early morning sky. (January 2012)
