It's been a long hot summer and Deja is getting restless. She's tired of walking the same path every day, visiting the same park or staring out of the window at home. Deja wants to see more of the world! This revelation became a reality when I found a note from Deja that read: "Hi Daddy, I've gone out to do a bit of exploring. Will be back soon. And could you please have my favorite food ready at dinner time? Love Deja."
Of course I was very concerned after reading this, I don't want any harm to come to my precious pooch! Fortunately I have a GPS tracking device on Deja's collar and I went out to search for her. I drove my car and it wasn't long before I picked up her signal! Deja was on the move but moving very slowly. I finally reached her exact location and was totally unprepared for what happened next. I heard a bark from up above and I looked up and there was Deja, safe and sound, effortlessly floating over a vast cornfield.
I held up a treat and yelled, "Come down Deja, it's time for dinner!" With a sharp bark, she slowly descended and when she touched the ground, she ran to me faster than I had ever seen her run! We hopped in the car and Deja licked my face and said, "Daddy, I didn't really enjoy myself without you, can we go home so we can look out of my favorite window?" And I said, "Of course we can, let's go!"
