Hubbard Park in Meriden Connecticut is a great place to visit since there is plenty to see and do. There is a large pond where you can go fishing or watch the many species of birds and waterfowl as they go about their daily hunting and feeding activities. You can enjoy a music concert at the park's bandshell or experience the excitement of the thrilling rides when the carnival makes its appearance. You can ride your bike along the paved paths or go hiking through the trails and visit the famous Castle Craig, a stone castle that is 1,000 ft up on the side of a mountain! The visual aesthetic of the park is so beautiful and many engaged couples or newlyweds have their photos taken there in and around the gazebo or the meticulously maintained waterfalls. The park is very well known for its Spring Daffodil Festival where thousands of daffodils are blooming everywhere throughout the park. It is really quite impressive! Hubbard Park is a great place to bring the entire family or go by yourself if you'd rather quietly enjoy the park at your own pace. I paid the park a visit a couple of weeks ago and here are a few photos from that day.
