Living in Connecticut, I am very used to the changing of the seasons that take place here.  It looks like Old Man Winter has finally released his grip on our state and the signs that Spring has arrived is evident everywhere.  Leaves are beginning to appear on bare trees, flowers are popping up through the soil, migratory birds are returning and temperatures are rising!  While all of these things are very positive, there is a negative aspect on the flip side.  The winter months are very hard on your yard so Spring is also the time to break out your shovels and rakes and get your yard back into shape.  As I assessed what I needed to do, I saw a lot of weeds that were growing under the deck and I planned to pull them up as my first Spring cleanup project.  See the short (and funny) video below of me tackling those gosh darn weeds!  I know there is lots more work ahead for me and the day may come where I will wish for Winter's return...
