Dreary. Gloomy. Grey. Wet! These words perfectly describe the kind of weather we've had here in New England over the past couple of days. Lots of overcast skies, cold temperatures and heavy downpours of rain. Conditions like that are certainly challenging from a photographic perspective unless you have a waterproof camera...which I don't have unfortunately! The rain finally stopped and I noticed the trees in my backyard while looking out of my kitchen window. It was quite a sight to see the drops of water that were clinging to the branches and leaves. I took advantage of this break in the weather and ran outside to capture a few shots. Here are a few of them.
It seems like it has been a long winter here in New England since we've endured multiple snow storms including a blizzard that delivered 2 feet of snow! These photos give me hope that the warmth and colors of Spring is not too far off in the future.
